Drink coffee, enjoy lunch, browse the Gallery or discover that you really ARE creative in an Artisans Retreat class. Artisans Retreat offers a wide range of beginners’ craft workshops designed so YOU can have a go. These classes include candle-making, silk-painting, kilnformed glass, paper-tole, woodturning, Hebel sculpture, cross-stitch and kite-making for kids. The newest and most exciting addition to their program is Precious Metal Clay or ‘Magic Clay’. Starting with what looks like and works like clay, your completed piece becomes 99.9% pure silver when fi red. This unique medium is easy to use, and you will achieve beautiful jewellery pieces from your very fi rst workshop.

This January, there will also be a variety of kids’ workshops on offer using a range of media including wood, paper, fi bre, paint and palm wax.
